SUPERIOR COUNCIL

C.S.I.P.P.C. is run by a Superior Council composed of representatives appointed by the institutions with regulating attributions in the field of accounting, namely: Ministry of Public Finances, Ministry of Justice, Romanian National Bank, Financial Supervisory Authority, Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania, Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.

The President is elected from the representatives appointed by the Ministry of Public Finances, Ministry of Justice or the Romanian National Bank.

The Council is composed of 7 members and has the following structure:

– a Representative of the Ministry of Public Finances, appointed by the Minister of Public Finances;
– a Representative of the Ministry of Justice, appointed by the Minister of Justice;
– a Representative of the National Bank of Romania, appointed by the Governor;
– the President of the Financial Supervisory Authority, appointed by the President;
– the President of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania, or a Representative of this institution, appointed by the Chamber’s Council;
– the President of the Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania, or a Representative of this institution appointed by the Body’s Superior Council;
– the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania or a Representative of this Chamber, appointed by the Chamber’s President .
